What you will do:

- Perform and interpret diagnostic laboratory procedures in Haematology and Transfusion services, ensuring high standards of accuracy and efficiency.
- Operate and maintain Sysmex Haematology and Coagulation analysers, as well as Grifols blood group analysers and Haemonetics Blood tracking systems.
- Ensure compliance with UKAS inspection standards and MHRA requirements, maintaining quality control throughout all processes.
- Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team, contributing to patient care and clinical decision-making.

Requirements:

- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) is essential, confirming your credentials to practise safely and effectively.
- Must have experience as a Biomedical Scientist in a Haematology and Transfusion setting, with recent experience using relevant analysers.
- A valid driving license is preferable for ease of commuting within the regional area.
