What you will do:

• Conduct in-depth dietary assessments for inpatient individuals, tailoring nutritional plans to meet their specific needs.
• Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care and support for patients with oncology and gastroenterology conditions.
• Educate patients and staff on the importance of nutrition and diet in the management and recovery of health issues.
• Stay updated with the latest research and dietary guidelines to ensure best practices in patient care.
• Maintain accurate records and report on patient progress, adjusting dietary plans as needed based on patient response.

As a Band 6 Dietitian, registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) is essential to provide quality care. In addition, a driving licence will be beneficial for the role to facilitate home visits when required.
