What you will do:
- Work closely with offenders to assess their needs related to substance misuse and develop bespoke recovery plans.
- Implement evidence-based interventions and support programmes tailored to individual needs, helping offenders achieve positive outcomes.
- Provide one-on-one and group counselling sessions to aid in the recovery process.
- Facilitate access to support services both inside and outside the prison environment.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to the recovery process.
- Document progress and maintain accurate records, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and procedures.

Requirements for the role of Substance Misuse Worker:
To excel in this role, you should have recent experience in addiction management, including expertise in areas such as Substance Misuse, Needle Exchange, or Recovery support. Possessing relevant qualifications or certifications in substance misuse or addiction is a must-have to ensure effective delivery of services.
