Key Responsibilities

• Dispensing Support:

  • Assist the pharmacy team in dispensing medications accurately and efficiently in line with established procedures.

• Stock Management:

  • Maintain appropriate stock levels, ensuring medicines and supplies are organised and readily available.

• Customer Service:

  • Provide professional and friendly support to patients, carers, and healthcare professionals.

• Team Support & Supervision:

  • Contribute to the training and supervision of junior staff where appropriate.

• Compliance & Governance:

  • Ensure adherence to pharmacy standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.

• Preparation of Medicines:

  • Support the preparation and assembly of pharmaceutical products for patient use.

Essential Requirements

• Band 4 Experience:
  Previous experience working at Band 4 level is essential.

• HCPC Registration:
  Must hold current HCPC registration.

• Experience:
  Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar pharmacy role.

• Driving Licence (Preferred):
  A valid driving licence is desirable to support travel between sites.
