 What you will do:
- Maintain detailed records of construction activities, monitoring progress and compliance with programme constraints. 
 - Manage contracts effectively and apply project management techniques to ensure successful delivery of transport initiatives. 
 - Collaborate with a diverse multi-disciplinary team, contributing to the inspection of temporary traffic management arrangements. 
 - Navigate the legal and statutory landscapes associated with infrastructure projects, traffic management, and highway schemes. 
 - Build and nurture strong working relationships with contractors, sub-contractors, and statutory undertakers. 
 - Interpret complex technical documentation and apply it to practical scenarios. 
 - Develop and mentor junior staff, fostering an environment of growth and learning. 
 - Prepare comprehensive reports and address correspondence with clarity and precision.
 
 Experience and Qualifications:
- To excel in this role, you will need considerable experience in inspecting and maintaining detailed records, managing contracts, and project delivery. 
- Your ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with various stakeholders is crucial. 
- A solid understanding of relevant legislation, technical information, and the ability to manage relationships with ease will be beneficial. 
- A HND in Civil Engineering or a similar discipline, along with a full UK driving licence and CSCS card, are required.
