Location: Inverness
Contract: Temporary, full-time
Pay: Up to £42 per hour

Seven Resourcing is seeking an experienced Children & Families Social Worker to join a supportive team in Inverness. This temporary, full-time assignment offers up to £42 per hour.

The successful candidate will deliver high-quality social work practice to ensure positive outcomes for children and their families. You’ll apply relevant legislation, work collaboratively with partners, and support safe, effective care throughout the Inverness area.

Key Responsibilities of the Social Worker

• Maintain high standards of practice to support children and families.
• Apply legislation, policy, and guidance to assessment and planning.
• Build effective relationships with children, families, and partner agencies.
• Manage a diverse caseload, ensuring accurate recordkeeping.
• Conduct assessments, visits, and reports in line with statutory expectations.

Requirements of the Social Worker

• Full-time availability (sponsorship not available).
• Social Work qualification (BA/MA/BSc/MSc, CQSW, or DipSW).
• SSSC registration.
• ASYE completed.
• Minimum 2 years’ post-qualifying experience in children and families services.
• Fostering experience or transferable experience.
• Enhanced DBS.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Ability to travel across the Inverness area.
