Social Worker - Mental Health Team – Work in Stornoway, Isle of Lewis
Location: Isle of Lewis (relocation/accommodation allowance available)
Contract: Temporary, Full-time
Pay: £52 per hour + £150 accommodation allowance

Seven Resourcing are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join the Mental Health Team based in Stornoway, Isle of Lewis. This is a full-time, temporary opportunity offering £52 per hour plus a £150 accommodation allowance, making it ideal for candidates across Scotland who are open to working away from home.

In this role, you will support adults experiencing mental health challenges, carrying out assessments, developing care plans, and coordinating multi-agency interventions to promote recovery and independence. You will work closely with NHS colleagues, community services, and families to ensure individuals receive appropriate and timely support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete comprehensive mental health and social care assessments.

• Develop and implement care and support plans tailored to individual needs.

• Work collaboratively with NHS professionals, community teams, and voluntary agencies.

• Contribute to safeguarding processes and risk management planning.

• Maintain accurate case records in line with legislation and local policy.

• Participate in supervision, training, and multidisciplinary meetings.

Applicant Requirements:

• Qualified Social Worker (BA/MA/BSc/MSc in Social Work, CQSW, or DipSW).

• Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).

• Proven post-qualified experience within a mental health or adult social care setting.

• Knowledge of the Mental Health (Care and Treatment) (Scotland) Act 2003.

• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.

• Enhanced DBS/PVG check.

• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
