About the Role
We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced Band 7 Paediatric Dietitian to join the vibrant Paediatric Dietetics Team in Stoke-on-Trent. Based primarily at the Royal Stoke University Hospital, this full-time locum position offers a competitive hourly rate of £31.00 and an immediate start with ongoing employment.

Key Responsibilities
- 
Manage and prioritise a paediatric inpatient caseload, including high dependency and critical care units. 
- 
Conduct detailed nutritional assessments and develop individualised dietetic care plans. 
- 
Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic and evidence-based care. 
- 
Educate and support families and carers to promote adherence to nutritional plans and long-term wellbeing. 
- 
Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes, adjusting treatment plans as required. 
- 
Contribute to service improvement initiatives and support student dietitians or junior colleagues where appropriate. 
Qualifications and Requirements
- 
HCPC registration as a qualified Dietitian (essential). 
- 
Minimum 2 years’ experience in paediatric dietetics, preferably within an acute children’s hospital setting. 
- 
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective family and team engagement. 
- 
Full UK driving licence preferred, as the role may require travel between sites.
