Social Worker within Adults Learning Disabilities Team in Islington, earning £32 per hour, ongoing, full-time.
An exciting opportunity awaits as a Social Worker in the Adults Learning Disabilities Team in Islington where you can truly make a difference. If you are enthusiastic about supporting individuals with learning disabilities and have a minimum of two years' experience, this could be the perfect role for you. With multiple vacancies available, you'll have the chance to either work on completing backlogs of reviews and assessments or engage with young adults aged 18-25, conducting Care Act Assessments and managing case oversight. The caseload is typically 20-25, and while flexible working arrangements are offered, most visits and meetings are best conducted in person. This full-time role requires you to be in the Islington office twice a week.

What you will do:
- Complete reviews and assessments to address backlogs, focusing on timely and accurate delivery.
- Work with young adults aged 18-25 who have learning disabilities and are Care Act eligible.
- Conduct Care Act Assessments, develop support plans, and execute comprehensive reviews.
- Manage safeguarding procedures and participate in statutory work.
- Oversee case management and ensure effective service delivery.
