This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Social Work Senior Practitioner to join our Child Protection and Court Team in Wolverhampton. We are seeking a tenacious and resilient professional to manage all high-risk unborns, PLO court team, and CP plans including disabilities team and children in care s47/CP plans. What you will do:

- Act as a recognised expert in child protection within social work teams and as part of multi-agency responses.
- Manage a caseload involving high-risk and complex situations, including children at risk of significant harm.
- Support less experienced social workers by co-working on cases and providing expert advice.
- Lead section 47 enquiries and manage cases for children on child protection plans or in pre-proceedings.
- Produce high-quality assessments and reports for courts, child protection conferences, and statutory reviews.
- Maintain accurate records in line with policy and procedure, ensuring all tasks are completed within required timescales.
- Collaborate with external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
- Chair child protection meetings and lead multi-agency forums to make key safeguarding decisions.
