Handyman in Wokingham, Berkshire

Handyman – Wokingham (Mon-Fri, 7:30am-4:30pm, 1pm finish Friday)
Salary: £31,000–£32,000 + benefits

Are you a skilled, hands-on handyman who enjoys rolling up your sleeves and getting stuck into building maintenance and development? We’re looking for someone to join a busy facilities team in Wokingham to take responsibility for all internal and external building upkeep.

What you’ll do:

• Be an active member of the building maintenance team involved in new construction projects and general repairs – walls, ceilings, doors, plumbing, and more

• Manage material orders responsibly and follow proper approval procedures

• Use power tools safely with the right protective equipment

• Maintain all facility equipment following health & safety and COSHH regulations

• Assist with statutory building maintenance tasks such as fire alarm testing, emergency lighting, and PAT testing

• Take on other reasonable duties as needed

What we’re looking for:

• A proactive, hands-on individual happy to ‘muck in’ and work both independently and as part of a small team

• Experience in building services and a good understanding of health & safety requirements

• Reliable and motivated with a strong work ethic
