What You Will Do:

• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary hospital team, enhancing patient care both in the dispensary and on wards.

• Lead and support the ongoing development of oncology and haematology pharmacy services in line with local and national directives.

• Ensure the safe, compliant, and cost-effective use of medicines in accordance with PEH policy, standard operating procedures, and medicines legislation.

• Provide supervision and mentorship to other pharmacists, promoting growth and excellence within the team.

• Contribute to budget management and clinical governance by preparing accurate and detailed reports.

• Assist in the creation and implementation of treatment protocols and drug-use guidelines relevant to your clinical areas.

• Work with the Head Technician and Aseptic Technical Lead to ensure all aseptic and technical facilities meet regulatory and quality standards.

• Support the leadership team in audits and maintaining compliance with standards set by the General Pharmaceutical Council and Royal Pharmaceutical Society.

• Deliver senior pharmacy leadership and technical expertise to the dispensary team.

Requirements:

• Must be a registered pharmacist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

• Strong background in technical services, preferably within hospital or oncology/haematology settings.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
