Job Title: Adults Social Worker (Safeguarding)

Join our Adult Safeguarding Team in Hereford as a temporary Social Worker for 14 weeks, where your skills will significantly contribute to ensuring the well-being of vulnerable adults in the community. What You Will Do:

• Screen and assess adult safeguarding concerns as they arise via the Advice and Referral Team (ART), gathering relevant information to determine if S42 criteria are met.
• Engage with customers as part of Making Safeguarding Personal, providing evidence for decision-making and next steps.
• Maintain and enhance working relationships with partner agencies, ensuring a holistic approach to safeguarding is upheld.
• Travel throughout the county as needed to respond effectively to service requirements, applying your expert knowledge of legislation and safeguarding practices.

About You:
You possess previous experience in adult safeguarding and a solid understanding of legislation concerning adults. As a qualified, Social Work England registered Social Worker, you are committed to a personalised and outcome-focused approach. Your ability to drive around the county will be essential, as you balance working from Plough Lane and home to meet service needs.
