We have opportunities for experienced children's social workers across our services in our Permanence Teams. The ideal candidate will have over three years of post-qualification experience in Children in Care and Children Looked After. Excellent engagement and direct working skills with children and young people are essential, as are abilities in care and placement planning and minimising risk with a methodical, organised approach to ensure long-term improved outcomes. Ensuring stable placements appropriate for individual needs is key. There has never been a more thrilling time to join Liverpool Children's Services as a social worker.

What You Will Do

• Collaborate closely with children, families, and carers to ensure the best care and outcomes.

• Develop care and placement plans tailored to the individual needs of children.

• Assess, monitor, and address any risks while maintaining an organised approach to minimise them.

• Work towards stable and appropriate placements to support children's long-term development.

• Engage with and maintain strong direct relationships with children and young people, ensuring their voices are heard and acted upon.
