Complex Care Assistant in Penrith, North West

Join Alcedo Care South Lakes as a Complex Care Assistant supporting a Gentleman in his own home in Kirkby Stephens.

You will help promote the gentleman’s independence, dignity and quality of life, offering reassurance and companionship throughout the night.

Area: Kirkby Stephen

Pay: £17.00 – £18.00/hour + Holiday Pay + Pension (Rolled Up Rate: £19.62 – £20.78/hour)

Shift Pattern: Night Shifts –8:00pm to 8:00am

About the Role:

This is a night shift role (8pm–8am) supporting a gentleman in his own home, delivering one-to-one, high-quality care and companionship in a comfortable and familiar setting.

You may support with:

• Spinal injury care
• Respiratory support
• Medication management
• Bowel management
• Meal preparation and light household tasks

You will receive full clinical training and competency sign-off from our in-house Registered Nurses before starting.

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 months of hands-on UK care experience
• Must be 18+ (due to the nature of the role)
• Subject to Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references
• Driving License or local to Kirkby Stephens
• A caring, compassionate, and people-focused mindset
