This full-time position is offered at £32.97 per hour, on a 6-month contract. Our team is seeking an experienced children's social worker with a strong background in social services in the UK. What you will do:

1. Undertake comprehensive assessments of need in compliance with national guidance, legislation, and Social Work England codes, while adhering to departmental policies and procedures.
2. Develop and implement effective plans to meet the assessed needs of children, acting as the allocated worker and ensuring their welfare.
3. Collaborate with children, families, and carers in the assessment, planning, and review of services to ensure a cohesive approach.
4. Work in partnership with other local authority departments, and statutory, voluntary, and independent agencies to deliver coordinated services.
5. Uphold professional standards and practices, ensuring responsible decision-making in line with your experience and knowledge.
6. Identify safeguarding situations and report them through agreed processes to ensure prompt and appropriate action.

Requirements of the Senior Practitioner:

- A degree or equivalent in social work.
- Current Social Work England registration.
- Significant frontline experience in social services within the UK as a qualified Social Worker.
