What you will do:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of individuals with long-term disabilities to determine their moving and handling needs and the necessary adaptations.
  • Provide professional guidance and supervision to other Occupational Therapists and Occupational Therapy Assistants.
  • Engage in community-based assessments, which may require visiting clients in their homes or residential settings.
  • Take on a duty role as needed, ensuring high-quality service delivery at all times.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care plans.


Requirements:

  • Hold a current registration with the HCPC.
  • Possess a valid driver's licence to facilitate community visits.
