This is an exciting opportunity to join our vibrant Connected Carers Team in Durham. We are looking for an experienced Social Worker with a background in Fostering. As a full-time Locum Social Worker in Seaham, you will have the chance to make a positive difference in the lives of our community for three months.

What you will do:

• Conduct Reg 24 viability assessments and Full Connected Carers assessments to support children's placements with connected individuals.
• Provide ongoing support and supervision to Connected Carers, helping them transition from being family members or friends to recognised carers.
• Carry out regular reviews with Connected Carers, ensuring their needs and the needs of the children in their care are met.
• Collaborate with a team of professionals focused on enhancing the well-being and development of children in fostering situations.
• Maintain accurate records and reports, updating all relevant parties on the progress and outcomes of care plans.
