What you will do:
- Perform and interpret a range of diagnostic tests within the Blood Transfusion department to ensure optimal patient care.
- Maintain, operate, and troubleshoot complex laboratory instrumentation.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant guidelines, protocols, and regulations is maintained at all times.
- Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to drive quality and innovation within the department.
- Assist with the training and mentoring of junior staff to foster a supportive team environment.
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must meet the following requirements:
- Hold HCPC registration and a relevant qualification in biomedical science or an alternative qualification.
- Possess post-qualifying experience within biomedical science.
- Demonstrate previous experience in Blood Transfusion processes.
