What you will do:
- Investigate allegations and concerns regarding professionals or volunteers working with children.
- Provide advice and guidance to employers and voluntary organisations on managing allegations.
- Chair strategy meetings and offer recommendations for handling individual cases.
- Maintain detailed records of investigations and outcomes.
- Collaborate with social care, police, and other partner agencies to safeguard children effectively.
- Deliver awareness training to professionals on safe working practices and the role of the LADO.
- Regularly review cases and ensure they are closed in a timely manner.

Requirements of the LADO:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant frontline experience in Social Services within the UK working as a qualified Social Worker
