Experience in adult safeguarding is essential along with the ability to conduct section 42 enquiries. The role demands creativity in implementing person-centred interventions that promote autonomy and empower individuals' support networks.

What you will do:

  • Manage a caseload with complexity aligned to your level of experience.
  • Conduct statutory assessments, reviews, and reassessments using social work methodologies.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislative frameworks when supporting adults and offer personal budgets where applicable.
  • Document comprehensive records following set guidelines and legislation.
  • Collaborate closely with partners and agencies to plan and co-ordinate services that deliver best value.
  • Facilitate and lead planning and review meetings as required.
  • Engage with multi-disciplinary forums to ensure effective cross-agency collaboration.
  • Take part in safeguarding enquiries, working with multi-agency partners and taking action in line with legal frameworks.
