What you will do:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments including Child Protection and Child in Need evaluations, ensuring the wellbeing and safety of children.
- Prepare detailed reports and attend court proceedings, showcasing your expertise in safeguarding children.
- Work within statutory deadlines, balancing office duties with home and duty visits across Bolton.
- Collaborate with families, carers, and other professionals to develop and implement support plans.
- Maintain detailed records and documentation, ensuring compliance with legal and organisational standards.
Requirements:
- A Social Worker with a minimum of 3 years' experience, specifically within a Safeguarding Children's team.
- Proficient knowledge of Child Protection, Court processes, and statutory guidelines.
- Ability to travel to Bolton and be office-based at short notice if service demands require.
- Capacity to undertake duty and home visits across the region, based at Castle Hill.
