As a supervisor within Adult Services, you will be responsible for planning and monitoring tasks that enable the successful delivery of your designated team's business objectives. Your leadership will contribute to continuous improvement within the Council as you ensure compliance with safeguarding adults according to all relevant local and national policies and legislation.

What you will do:

- Support team members in maintaining and developing high professional standards.
- Promote a strengths-based model of self-directed support, allowing service users and carers to determine their own outcome-focused solutions.
- Directly supervise selected staff, manage the allocation of work, and oversee their performance.
- Be accountable for the financial implications of your team's work, ensuring projects stay within budget while maximizing independence for service users.
- Develop and establish high standards of practice, being accountable for service delivery and working in collaboration with your team manager.
- Liaise with multidisciplinary partners in line with Hackney's integration plans for health and care.
- Identify priorities with the Team Manager and Consultant Social Worker to balance development and practice work.
- Contribute to the Quality Assurance Framework, collaborating with relevant stakeholders to uphold high standards.
