What you will do:

  • Provide professional leadership and guidance to colleagues, supporting your Team Manager with daily operations.
  • Carry a reduced caseload, working with children and families with complex needs, undertaking in-depth assessments.
  • Share your knowledge and experience through supervision and mentoring, continuously improving practice standards within your team.
  • Champion high standards of professional social work practice, fostering a culture of reflection and learning.
  • Deliver on-the-job training, mentoring, and coaching to unqualified or less experienced staff, students, and social workers.
  • Lead the development of evidence-based practice, working collaboratively in a multi-agency environment to support families with complex needs.
