Maintenance Engineer in Gwynedd

Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a specialist manufacturing company in their search for a Maintenance Engineer to work at their facility in Gwynedd

For the successful Maintenance Engineer our client is offering:

• Competitive Salary 
• Days shifts (39 hours per week) 
• Monday to Thursday 07:30 am to 16:30, Friday 07:30 am to 12:30 pm.
• Permanent role
• Free parking on-site 
• Early finish on Fridays 

The role - Maintenance Engineer:

• Diagnosing and solving electrical and mechanical breakdowns, effectively and efficiently.
• Implement scheduled maintenance on all equipment with minimal downtime.
• Support building maintenance actions and 5S Lean process expectations.
• Keep accurate reports of the elements within any given task, as necessary.
• Maintain good housekeeping, a healthy and safe work environment, and the safe use of equipment and machinery.
• Support with the execution of a variety of projects as part of the maintenance team.

What our client is looking for in a Maintenance Engineer:

• Proven work experience in a manufacturing facility and equipment maintenance role - ESSENTIAL
• Must hold recognised Mechanical/Electrical Qualifications ESSENTIAL
• Experience of carrying out repair and preventative maintenance for Press Shop, Forging,
  and Rumbling operations - ESSENTIAL
• Strong knowledge of CNC machine tool service or maintenance - ESSENTIAL
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experienced with the application of Lean Manufacturing & 5S principles.
