What You Will Do:

• Work within a fast-paced duty team to conduct thorough assessments of children’s needs.

• Manage a diverse caseload, including Children in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP), and Looked After Children (CLA).

• Progress cases to Initial Child Protection Conferences (ICPC), manage court proceedings, and present at CLA reviews.

• Operate on a structured duty cycle—one week on duty, followed by three weeks managing ongoing work—ensuring both efficiency and quality in case progression.

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum three years’ post-qualification experience in permanent local authority roles.

• Proven ability to manage high workloads while maintaining quality outcomes for children and families.
