Job Title: Ward Manager (RMN) within Older Adults Team

Salary: £73,085 annually

What you will do:

• Hold continuing responsibility for service provision within the ward, ensuring the highest standard of care.
• Coordinate the assessment and allocation of placements, managing complex emotional and physical needs expertly with a reliable team.
• Lead a dynamic multi-disciplinary team in delivering person-centred care with professionalism and empathy.
• Actively contribute to service developments and lead initiatives aimed at enhancing quality and safety.
• Foster constructive communication and relationships with residents, staff, and multi-disciplinary team members.
• Ensure effective resource management within the ward, maintaining budget efficiency and quality care delivery.
• Promote the CARE values at all times, upholding compassion, professionalism, and integrity.
• Collaborate with peers and operational managers on policy reviews and service improvement initiatives.
• Organise and prioritise workload effectively, leading by example while supporting and inspiring the nursing team.
