What you will do:
- Provide high-quality care to older adult service users, employing a strengths-based approach to clinical practice.
- Conduct complex assessments using your comprehensive understanding of the Bailiwick of Guernsey mental health law 2010 and the Guernsey Capacity Law 2024.
- Coordinate care plans and evaluations that are based on evidence and research.
- Lead a team of professionals in providing specialist advice in both acute and chronic situations.
- Foster patient and service user involvement in care planning, respecting their beliefs and dignity.
- Implement effective communication strategies to manage conflicts and build therapeutic relationships.
- Take on leadership roles, advocating for service users and upholding our high standards and CARE values.
- Manage resources responsibly, ensuring funds are used appropriately and effectively within the service area.
- Engage in professional development activities, supervising and mentoring new staff members or students.
