What you will do:
- Manage a caseload of young people referred through our Prevention and Diversion pathways.
- Complete thorough assessments using the YJB Prevention and Diversion Assessment tool.
- Develop child-led plans aimed at reducing offending behaviours and addressing unmet needs.
- Provide occasional cover as a court duty officer to represent the service.
- Fulfil office duties as needed, championing both a Child First and Trauma Informed approach.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- A degree in social work with valid Social Work England registration.
- Proven frontline experience working as a qualified Social Worker within UK Social Services.
