What you will do:

  • Lead and manage safeguarding cases, ensuring the safety and well-being of children and families.
  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement protection plans.
  • Supervise and support social workers and ASYEs in managing complex casework, providing guidance and expertise.
  • Conduct assessments and statutory work, maintaining high standards of practice and consistency in care.
  • Engage with families to build trusting relationships, offering support and intervention where needed.
  • Facilitate meetings and contribute to strategy discussions to promote positive outcomes for children.
