What you will do:
- Assess and treat a diverse caseload of neurological patients, including those with motor, sensory, cognitive, or behavioural issues
- Conduct manual handling assessments and provide personalised rehabilitation plans
- Work with patients experiencing cognitive difficulties, offering specialised therapeutic interventions
- Supervise and mentor junior staff, enhancing their professional development and ensuring high standards of care
- Carry and manage your own caseload independently while working within a multidisciplinary team
- Provide support and guidance to patients with neurological diagnoses, such as those recovering from strokes
Requirements:
- Must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Evidence of varied experience within Neurology services, including inpatient acute, rehabilitation, or outpatient services
- Experience of working with patients with a neurological diagnosis and cognitive difficulties
- Able to supervise others and work unsupervised
