What you will do:
- Process subject access requests in line with the Data Protection Act and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
- Redact third-party and sensitive information to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory obligations.
- Liaise with internal departments to obtain relevant documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of requests, responses, and actions taken.
- Provide guidance and advice on information governance and data protection matters.
- Ensure all information handling practices adhere to council policies and procedures.

Essential Criteria:
- Degree in social work.
- Current Social Work England Registration.
- Successful completion of ASYE.
- Previous experience in records management, data protection, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of the Data Protection Act and GDPR.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive data securely.
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads efficiently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
