Please Note – Liverpool City Council Overtime Rates:

• Overtime under 37 hours: Paid at regular rate

• Overtime above 37 hours: Paid at time and a half (double time on Sundays)

• Rates capped at SCP22 (£14.82) for overtime—submit hours using designated overtime codes

• Weekend enhancements begin after 2 hours for part-time workers

What You Will Do:

• Lead and manage complex adult social care cases with a person-centred approach

• Offer expert support to junior social workers, fostering a learning culture

• Undertake assessments and develop effective, needs-based support plans

• Collaborate across services to deliver coordinated, multidisciplinary care

• Advocate for clients’ rights and champion their well-being and dignity

• Maintain compliance through accurate, timely documentation and reporting
