What you will do:

- Act as the principal advisor on social work practice to senior leadership.
- Promote and embed a culture of high-quality, evidence-informed practice across the workforce.
- Lead on the implementation of national policy and regulatory changes.
- Ensure the voice of social workers and service users informs service planning and delivery.
- Lead and manage the service’s Quality Assurance Framework, including audits and reviews.
- Analyse practice trends and performance data, developing service improvement plans.
- Monitor compliance with statutory duties and practice standards.
- Oversee and contribute to the design and delivery of CPD programmes and reflective practice forums.
- Support and promote the recruitment, retention, and wellbeing of social workers.
- Collaborate with universities, research organisations, and national bodies for social work education.
