What you will do:

Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide specialised interventions for adults with dysphagia in acute hospital settings.

Develop and implement individualised therapy plans to address swallowing difficulties, ensuring safe and effective management.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including medical staff, dietitians, and occupational therapists, to deliver holistic patient care.

Provide expert advice, training, and support to healthcare professionals and families on dysphagia management and strategies.

Contribute to the development of care pathways and protocols for dysphagia within the acute care environment.

Maintain accurate patient records and produce detailed reports to support clinical decision-making and care planning.

Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with evidence-based practices in dysphagia therapy.
Requirements:
You must be HCPC registered with a minimum of two years of experience in dysphagia management. A car driver's licence would be advantageous, but not mandatory.
