What you will do:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide specialised interventions for adults with dysphagia in acute hospital settings.

• Develop and implement individualised therapy plans to address swallowing difficulties, ensuring safe and effective management.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including medical staff, dietitians, and occupational therapists, to deliver holistic patient care.

• Provide expert advice, training, and support to healthcare professionals and families on dysphagia management and strategies.

• Contribute to the development of care pathways and protocols for dysphagia within the acute care environment.

• Maintain accurate patient records and produce detailed reports to support clinical decision-making and care planning.

• Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with evidence-based practices in dysphagia therapy.

Requirements:
You must be HCPC registered with a minimum of two years of experience in dysphagia management. A car driver's licence would be advantageous, but not mandatory.
