We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 7 Paediatric Occupational Therapist in beautiful Polegate. Offering a competitive rate of £29 per hour, this role requires a qualified and registered Occupational Therapist to join our team across East Sussex. What you will do:

  • Conduct assessments and provide evidence-based interventions for children and young people aged 0-19 years.

  • Work collaboratively within an integrated therapy team that includes Speech and Language Therapists, Physiotherapists, and other Occupational Therapists.

  • Advise on the prescription of paediatric equipment, including seating solutions and upper limb interventions.

  • Employ approaches such as Sensory Integrative informed practice, trauma-informed care, and other neurodevelopmental strategies.

  • Liaise with schools, early years settings, and community services to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.

Essential Skills:

  • A Recognised Therapy Degree Qualification or equivalent with current HCPC registration.

  • Minimum of 4 years post-qualification experience in paediatrics with a solid understanding of neurodevelopmental conditions.

  • Knowledge of special educational needs and experience in paediatric equipment prescription.

  • Ability to travel across East Sussex efficiently.
