Social Worker - Children With Disabilities Team in Swindon - £40.80 Hourly
We are thrilled to announce an exciting locum opportunity for an Experienced Social Worker and an Advanced Social Worker to join our Children with Disabilities Team in Swindon. This full-time role spans three months and offers a competitive pay rate of £40.80 hourly. The Disabled Children's Team is dedicated to safeguarding and empowering disabled children, ensuring they achieve their full potential. Our team is based at the Saltway Centre, where we work closely with multi-agency partners to provide a comprehensive service to children, young people, and their families. What you will do:
- Conduct assessments to identify the needs of children with disabilities, and devise appropriate care plans.
- Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners co-located at the Saltway Centre to provide holistic support.
- Monitor and review cases regularly to ensure that the child's needs are being met effectively.
- Act as an advocate for children and families, ensuring their voices are heard and rights respected.
- Keep accurate records and prepare detailed reports as needed for management and court proceedings.
