VGC Group are looking for experienced Steel Erectors to start on a major project in London. This contract is available to start on 01/07/2025.
Role: Steel Erector
Locations: London- SW2 5UA, SW17 0BN and SE5 9AJ
Contract: Full time
Experience: 2 years +.
Qualifications: CSCS Blue, Medium risk confined space, SSSTS desirable.

Steel Erector experience
Some of the duties you will have include:
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout and requirements for steel installation.
Assemble and install structural steel components, such as beams, columns, and braces, using appropriate tools and equipment.
Align and position steel components accurately, ensuring proper fit and levelness.
Bolt or weld steel components together securely, following industry standards and safety protocols.
Collaborate with other team members, including crane operators and riggers, to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Always adhere to safety guidelines and regulations, promoting a safe work environment.
Inspect and assess steel components for defects or damage, reporting any issues to the supervisor.
Maintain and organise tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
Follow project schedules and deadlines, completing tasks in a timely manner.
