Social Worker - Children in Care Team
Full-time - Hybrid working (1 day in the office every Monday)
Location: Awdry House Wisbech North Cambridgeshire
Rate: £38 hourly
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Children in Care Team in Cambridgeshire as a locum Social Worker where you'll be earning an attractive £38 per hour on an ongoing basis. What you will do:
- Carry a caseload and progress care plans for children in care
- Work on finding adoptive placements and supporting long-term fostering plans
- Engage with some complex young people in residential care and assist those we support in returning home to family members
- Utilize excellent skills in direct work with children and young people
- Commit to robust and timely permanence planning to promote positive outcomes as we are highly aspirational for our children in care
- Promote good health, educational achievements, and develop positive relationships as key foundations for a successful future
- Collaborate as part of a dynamic team consisting of a Team Manager, Senior Practitioner, and fellow Social Workers to enhance positive outcomes for our young people
