Overview

Sanctuary Personnel is currently looking for a skilled and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join the Adults Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) in Huyton. This is an exciting opportunity to play a critical role in safeguarding vulnerable adults, working within a multidisciplinary setting and making a measurable difference in the community. Main Responsibilities

• Conduct safeguarding enquiries and assessments in line with Care Act 2014 responsibilities.

• Develop and implement person-centred care plans based on risk assessments and individual needs.

• Collaborate effectively within the MASH team to triage and respond to safeguarding referrals.

• Provide guidance and support to vulnerable adults, advocating for their rights and well-being.

• Liaise with partner agencies including health services, police, housing, and voluntary sector organisations.

• Monitor and review care plans to ensure positive outcomes and quality care.

• Maintain accurate, timely, and legally compliant case records.

• Attend case conferences, reviews, and safeguarding strategy meetings.

• Apply professional judgement and analytical skills in complex safeguarding scenarios.

Requirements

• Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.

• Experience in adult safeguarding, ideally within a MASH or similar multi-agency environment.

• Knowledge of relevant legislation including the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, and safeguarding frameworks.

• Strong communication, assessment, and record-keeping skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and manage a varied caseload effectively.
