Location: HMP Ranby, Retford, UK
Pay Rates (Umbrella/LTD):

• Weekdays: £26.00/hour

• Saturdays: £29.00/hour

• Sundays/Bank Holidays: £32.00/hour
  Contract: Full-Time, Monday to Friday
  Duration: Minimum 3-month block booking (extension likely)

Role Overview

Sanctuary Personnel is looking for a Prison Cleared Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) for a rewarding locum opportunity at HMP Ranby in Retford. This role involves delivering high-quality care within the prison system, with a strong focus on substance misuse, general health, and mental health support.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide responsive, person-centred care to inmates across general and mental health needs

• Collaborate closely with the Substance Misuse Team to deliver targeted interventions and monitor outcomes

• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation in line with best practice standards

• Assist in the development of individualised care plans, contributing to the overall wellbeing of the prison population

• Ensure compliance with relevant clinical policies, guidelines, and security protocols

• Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and reviews to enhance continuity of care

Requirements

• NMC Registered RGN or RMN

• Current prison clearance is essential

• Experience in prison healthcare or substance misuse settings preferred

• Excellent communication, clinical judgement, and team collaboration skills
