What you will do:
- Provide specialist neonatal speech and language therapy assessments and interventions, ensuring the highest standard of care for newborn patients.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, offering your expertise to support the developmental needs of infants.
- Develop and implement personalised care plans, focusing on effective strategies for feeding and communication.
- Attend and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
- Offer guidance and education to families and carers, empowering them to support their infants’ developmental journey.
- Maintain accurate and detailed clinical records according to NHS standards.
- Engage in continuous professional development to stay informed of the latest advances in neonatology and speech and language therapy.
To excel in this role, you will need to be HCPC registered and have a valid driver’s licence to facilitate visits across the region. Your experience in neonatal care will be invaluable to our team and significantly impact the well-being of the infants and families you support.
