What you will do:

• Provide advanced clinical pharmacy services to the Emergency Department, ensuring high-quality care for complex patients
• Support and manage the two pharmacy technicians working in the Emergency Department
• Participate in policy development for the specialist area and undertake quality improvement projects
• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to promote effective medicines optimisation
• Attend monthly governance and medication safety meetings
• Provide cover for core services, including dispensary, extended hours on the acute medical floor, and on-call services
• Act as a line manager or mentor for junior pharmacy staff and involve yourself in audits, projects, and non-medical prescribing completion
