What you will do:
- Assess the needs of children and young people who require social work services, prioritising the identification of risk and the need for protection.
- Develop, co-ordinate, and oversee the delivery of multi-agency plans to address assessed needs, revisiting these plans to ensure they remain effective.
- unmet needs and service provision gaps to guide resource allocation and service development at both local and regional scales.
- Collaborate with other professionals and agencies, both statutory and voluntary, to deliver services identified through needs assessments.
- Tackle an allocated workload of increased complexity within a team setting, exercising a degree of autonomy and adhering to all statutory obligations and departmental policies.
- Diligently maintain up-to-date records on the electronic management system.
- Participate in professional supervision and team meetings, while capitalising on available training and development opportunities.
- Contribute to the evaluation and innovation of services by sharing insights and knowledge with colleagues and other professionals.
- Offer professional support to newly qualified or less experienced social workers to help develop their skills and knowledge.
