What you will do:

  • Work with children and families to complete assessments that reflect individual circumstances, including potential risks and protective factors, to develop comprehensive plans ensuring safety from significant harm and access to appropriate multi-agency support.
  • Manage a caseload of varying complexity, matching your experience, ability, and qualification levels.
  • Handle referrals from diverse sources, meticulously assessing the needs of children and families under the relevant statutory frameworks.
  • Collaborate effectively with partner agencies and other Children’s Services teams, maintaining a seamless integration of support.
  • Participate in a duty rota, responding promptly to crisis situations to support children in remaining safely with their families.
  • Empower individuals, families, and carers to address issues impacting their health, financial, emotional, and social well-being, fostering and sustaining positive change.
