What You Will Do:
- Assist dentists and oral surgery teams during dental and oral maxillofacial procedures.
- Prepare and sterilise instruments, ensuring stringent infection control protocols are followed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
- Manage patient flow and appointments with efficiency and care.
- Provide reassurance and oral health advice to patients, nurturing a positive patient experience.
- Support compliance with NHS and Trust policies on health, safety, and confidentiality.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams within dental and oral surgery departments.
Requirements:
- Qualified Dental Nurse with current General Dental Council (GDC) registration.
- Experience in a hospital or NHS dental environment is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team.
- Commitment to high standards of infection control and patient care.
- Flexibility to work specified shifts and adapt to clinical demands.
