What you will do:

- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients presenting with mental health concerns, including those with co-morbid physical health issues, in emergency departments and general hospital wards.
- Identify and manage risks associated with self-harm, suicide, aggression, and other mental health crises.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Provide expert advice to hospital staff on managing patients with mental health needs, facilitating appropriate referrals to community or specialist services.
- Offer training sessions to acute hospital staff to enhance their understanding and management of mental health conditions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and research projects to enhance service delivery and patient outcomes.
