What You Will Do:

Manage a complex caseload involving adults at risk, including individuals experiencing abuse, neglect, or exploitation.

Lead Section 42 enquiries, carrying out detailed risk assessments and implementing robust safety plans.

Mentor and support less experienced social workers, promoting reflective practice and high-quality decision-making.

Build effective partnerships with external agencies such as police, health services, and housing providers to ensure holistic safeguarding.

Maintain accurate, detailed records and produce high-standard reports for meetings, strategy discussions, and court proceedings.

Contribute to team meetings and service development initiatives, helping to enhance safeguarding frameworks and practices.
Requirements:

Minimum 18 months’ experience as a Designated Safeguarding Officer or Safeguarding Adults Manager.

Valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
