What You Will Do:

• Manage and prioritise a caseload of up to 20 children, ensuring each case is approached with diligence and thorough assessment.

• Work across Children in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP), Public Law Outline (PLO), and court-related tasks, applying your expertise to deliver robust interventions.

• Operate both independently and as part of a passionate team, demonstrating initiative and sound professional judgement.

• Maintain accurate, timely case recordings in line with statutory standards and organisational policies.

• Attend the office every Monday, with additional office days as required, and balance remaining hours through remote working.

• Build strong communication channels with families, partner agencies, and colleagues, always advocating for the best interests of the children you support.

Essential Requirements:

• Proven experience handling CIN, CP, PLO, and court work.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also delivering outcomes independently.

• Strong record-keeping skills with meticulous attention to detail.

• Relevant Social Work qualification and current professional registration.

Working Arrangements:

• Hybrid Model: Two office days per week (including Mondays).

• Equipment: All necessary IT equipment provided by the council on your start date.
