What you will do:
- Spearhead the planning, programming, and management of key highways projects from inception to completion.
- Navigate the commercial and contractual waters under NEC4 contracts, focussing on options such as Priced Bill of Quantities.
- Coordinate between diverse external contributors and stakeholders essential for seamless project delivery.
- Draft and sustain construction programmes that align with capital and funding necessities.
- Act as the face of the Council in consultations, public meetings, and cooperative efforts across departments and agencies.

Key Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in managing sophisticated highways or infrastructure projects under NEC4 contract terms.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Proficiency in ensuring governance, compliance, and maximising value for all phases of the project.
- Degree in Civil Engineering or Project Management, or a comparable professional qualification preferred.
- Must possess a vehicle for effective travel across various sites.
